Job summary

enGen is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure the optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems across our healthcare network. You will support the clinical environment, ensuring seamless image viewing, interpretation, and data exchange, while engaging in vendor relations and project management.

The role requires experience with PACS/RIS/EMR, DICOM/HL7, and IT security/compliance, with the ability to lead system upgrades, document lifecycle activities,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Systems or related field.
• Experience in medical imaging systems administration, PACS administration, or healthcare environment preferred.
• Knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards.

Responsibilities

• Image management, system optimization, and ensuring optimal viewing/interpretation of medical images.
• Collaborate with customers, developers, architects, and PMs to design high-quality business solutions; participate in full SDLC.
• Communicate downtime, upgrades, and workflow changes to stakeholders with minimal disruption.
• Provide IT support for imaging applications; learn and apply new transmission protocols, network config, DICOM/HL7; manage upgrades.
• Ensure QA and compliance with standards; assist with documentation, testing plans, and post-implementation support.
