Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance and compliance of medical imaging systems and interfaces. You will collaborate on project management, vendor relations, and imaging workflow improvements to support clinical environments and data exchange.

You will optimize imaging workflows, administer interfaces to EMR, RIS, and PACS, and participate in policy development with emphasis on DICOM/HL7 standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Information Systems or Technology experience.
• Experience in medical imaging systems administration, PACS administration, or a similar role within a healthcare environment.
• Lean/Six Sigma
• Health Insurance or Healthcare Industry

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal viewing and interpretation of medical images and interfaces (EMR, RIS, PACS, Voice Recognition).
• Participate in full system development lifecycle and maintain project documentation.
• Communicate downtime, upgrades, and workflow changes to stakeholders to minimize disruption.
• Provide vendor management support for imaging applications and systems.
• Ensure QA & compliance throughout project lifecycle and support testing activities.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required.
