Job summary

enGen is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance and compliance of medical imaging systems. You will manage interfaces with EMR, RIS, and PACS, verify data integrity, and contribute to policy development for imaging workflows while aligning with federal standards.

The role involves project lifecycle participation, collaboration with vendors and stakeholders, and ongoing learning of imaging protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical imaging systems administration, PACS administration, or a similar role within a healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards.
• Experience with project management and vendor relations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal environment for viewing and interpreting medical images.
• Monitor interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Verify data integrity and optimize image/workflow processes.
• Develop policies for image management ensuring regulatory compliance (DICOM/HL7).
• Participate in full system development lifecycle and maintain project documents.
