Job summary

enGen is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems. The role involves managing interfaces (EMR, RIS, PACS), improving imaging workflows, and supporting clinical environments.

Responsibilities include collaboration with vendors and developers, lifecycle documentation, budgeting, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in medical imaging systems administration or healthcare environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards.
• Experience with PACS/RIS/EMR interfaces.
• Ability to collaborate with vendors and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Image Management & System Optimization: optimize viewing/interpretation environment and manage interfaces (EMR, RIS, PACS, Voice Recognition).
• Project Management & Development Support: contribute to lifecycle documents, ensure on-time delivery, manage scope and budget.
• Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: inform stakeholders of downtime, upgrades, and workflow changes; translate healthcare terminology.
• Information Technology & Technical Support: assist with vendor management, learn new protocols, perform upgrades and maintenance, support KPIs.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: ensure standards compliance, perform testing, support documentation and on-call duties.
