Job summary

enGen is searching for an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems within the healthcare network. You will support clinical environments, optimize image viewing, interpretation, and data exchange, and collaborate across EMR, RIS, PACS, and vendor relations.

The role emphasizes project management, policy development for imaging management, and adherence to federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Information Systems or related field or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
• Experience in medical imaging systems administration, PACS administration, or a similar role within a healthcare environment.
• Lean/Six Sigma
• Health Insurance or Healthcare Industry

Responsibilities

• Ensures an optimal environment for the viewing and interpretation of medical images.
• Monitors interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Verifies data integrity and optimizes image and workflow processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Participates in development of image management policies with HIPAA familiarity and knowledge of DICOM/HL7 standards.
• Assists with budget development and cost scheduling, utilizing planned resources effectively.
