Job summary

enGen is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance and compliance of medical imaging systems, interfaces, and workflows. This role supports clinical environments, enhances image viewing, interpretation, and data exchange across EMR, RIS, and PACS interfaces.

The position involves project management, vendor liaison, and ongoing process improvements, with emphasis on policy alignment with imaging standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field or equivalent business/clinical experience.
• Experience in medical imaging systems administration, PACS administration, or similar healthcare role.
• Familiarity with DICOM and HL7 standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal viewing and interpretation environment for medical images and maintain high data integrity across interfaces (EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition).
• Participate in full lifecycle project management, documenting requirements, testing plans, training materials, and approvals.
• Communicate downtime, upgrades, and workflow changes to stakeholders with minimal operational disruption.
