Job summary

Highmark Health seeks an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems and interfaces. You will manage interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and voice recognition, drive policy development, and support imaging workflows within a healthcare environment.

The role requires collaboration across project teams, vendors, and clinical staff, with emphasis on data exchange, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of imaging

Qualifications

• Experience with medical imaging systems administration is preferred.
• Strong understanding of DICOM/HL7 standards and healthcare IT systems.
• Ability to manage projects and coordinate with vendors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal imaging viewing/interpretation environment and interface performance.
• Monitor interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Develop policies ensuring regulatory compliance and imaging standards.
• Lead or participate in project lifecycle documents and testing plans.
• Provide technical support for imaging applications and systems.
