Job summary

FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is seeking an Imaging Service Engineer I to perform scheduled service on imaging systems within a regional area. You will handle preventive maintenance, installations, and administrative duties, with occasional travel and overtime.

A strong customer-service mindset and FDA/ISO compliance focus are essential. The role requires an Associates degree in a related field or equivalent experience, plus at least one year in field service.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical engineering, electronics or computer science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year of field service experience.
• Knowledge of equipment to provide timely repair and maintenance.
• Active listening and strong customer service skills.
• Organizational and administrative capabilities with FDA standards.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for explaining technical issues.
• Ability to operate test equipment including oscilloscope, meters and testers.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe record.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance as directed.
• Performs unscheduled maintenance with technical support assistance.
• Works independently on preventive tasks, with support for unscheduled issues.
• Performs installations and de-installations of products and peripheral equipment.
• Maintains excellent relations with field, home office, and management teams.
• Maintains timely communications and completes administrative duties (timecards, work orders, inventory).
• Keeps customer service orders and internal records up to date per policy.
• Maintains daily communications with customers to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
• Uses escalation process and root cause analysis for problems.
• Completes paperwork neatly and on time.
• May require overtime and travel; promotes company image externally.
• Complies with FDA/ISO requirements and vendor credentialing.
