Job summary

Attalon, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking an IFS Solution Architect (Remote) to own the enterprise IFS Apps10/IFS Cloud architecture, ensuring security, compliance, and scalable design across multi-site operations.

This senior role leads the IFS Centre of Excellence, governs the Change Advisory Board, and partners with IT, Finance, and Compliance to drive strategic ERP initiatives. The position requires deep experience with IFS platforms, integration patterns, and cloud-native practices,

Qualifications

• Extensive experience architecting IFS Apps 10 and/or IFS Cloud.
• Design authority or solution architect in ERP transformation programs.
• Deep knowledge of IFS layers: projections, APIs, IFS Connect, Aurena, data models.
• Strong integration skills: REST, SOAP, middleware, event-based.
• Experience leading ERP Centre of Excellence.
• Familiarity with CMMC, ITAR, DCAA; regulated industries (A&D, manufacturing).
• Strong Oracle/SQL/PLSQL capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills.
• Experience with MES integrations and ERP/MES models.
• Familiarity with Azure, cloud-native patterns, or microservices.
• Experience supporting legacy-to-cloud transitions.
• Background in system migration, decommissioning, or multi-environment ops.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise IFS architecture across Apps 10 and IFS Cloud.
• Act as design authority for configurations, integrations, and data models.
• Define architectural principles and design patterns for upgradeability.
• Ensure secure, scalable solutions aligned with roadmaps and regulations.
• Govern CAB meetings and approve design proposals and changes.
• Lead IFS Centre of Excellence with governance and knowledge management.
• Collaborate with IT, Operations, Finance, and Compliance on roadmap and investments.
• Oversee licensing, renewals, and commercial alignment with account managers.
• Guide platform health, environment strategy, and release cadence.
• Support cloud adoption and ERP transformations with solution design.
