Job summary

Attalon, Inc. is seeking an experienced IFS Solution Architect to own the enterprise IFS architecture across Apps 10 and IFS Cloud. This senior role drives governance, CoE maturity, and regulatory alignment while partnering with IT, Operations, and Compliance to enable scalable ERP-enabled transformation.

The role is remote with occasional travel and requires strategic oversight of architecture, platform health, and license/assessment activities to support growth and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience architecting IFS Apps 10 and/or IFS Cloud.
• Design authority or solution architect in ERP transformation programs.
• Deep knowledge of IFS layers: projections, APIs, IFS Connect, Aurena, data models.
• Strong integration expertise (REST, SOAP, middleware, event-based).
• Experience contributing to or leading ERP Centres of Excellence.
• Familiarity with CMMC, ITAR, DCAA, and regulated industries.
• Oracle/SQL/PLSQL capability.
• Experience with MES platforms and ERP/MES integration models.
• Familiarity with Azure, cloud-native patterns, or microservices.
• Experience supporting legacy-to-cloud transitions and multi-environment operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the long-term architectural direction for the enterprise-wide IFS platform across Apps 10 and IFS Cloud.
• Shape ERP-enabled transformation initiatives with architectural leadership, risk insight, and strategic alignment.
• Serve as key contributor to IT Value Creation Plans (VCPs) for IFS, translating business value into architecture.
• Drive maturity of the IFS Centre of Excellence (CoE) and develop functional leads and SMEs.
• Partner with senior IT/Operations/Finance/Compliance leaders to align ERP strategy with value and regulatory needs.
• Evaluate and influence major architectural investments including Cloud roadmap and integrations.
• Own architectural risk management for the IFS landscape.
