Job summary

First Citizens is seeking a senior leader to drive the IT Platform Engineering Hub, owning IDP strategy, adoption, governance, and lifecycle management. You will shape developer experience, service catalogs, golden paths, and self-service capabilities, while aligning with enterprise security and governance standards.

The role requires 5+ years leading Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or cloud teams, and a track record in API-first architecture, CI/CD, and GitOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 12 years' experience in Applications development, analysis or engineering.
• 5+ years leading Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, Cloud or Infrastructure teams
• IDP strategy and adoption leadership
• Budget and roadmap ownership
