Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Security Lead / Release Lead with a Secret security clearance to support ICAM enablement initiatives. Primary work will be remote with occasional travel to Government facilities as needed.

The role demands strong federal IT security compliance, DoD frameworks, and disciplined release management across development, test, and production environments.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• Experience implementing DoD security frameworks and CUI requirements.
• Experience with release management in federal government programs.
• Knowledge of OPSEC, DFARS 252.204-7012, NIST SP 800-171, and related directives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary security SME for the ICAM enablement program.
• Develop and maintain the program's security compliance framework.
• Oversee CUI handling and OPSEC requirements across the program.
• Lead release management processes and approval gates for all environments.
• Coordinate with Government COR and ICAM PMO on security matters.
• Ensure production releases are tested, documented, and auditable.
