LanguageLine Solutions LLC is seeking a work-from-home Ibanag-English telephone interpreter. This is an independent contractor position, handling on-demand interpretation across Healthcare, Government, Insurance, and more, in a remote home-office setup.

Fluency in Ibanag and English, strong cultural awareness, and excellent listening skills are required. You will provide verbal translation, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to client procedures throughout sessions.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Ibanag and English and strong cultural awareness.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking for accurate interpretation.
• Able to work independently from a home office and follow client protocols.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to interpreting sessions.
• Render accurate concepts and meanings per interpretation protocol.
• Maintain clear pronunciation and neutral stance across languages.
• Remain calm and professional, even in difficult or emergency calls (e.g., 911).
• Ensure availability during agreed work hours and follow client instructions.
