Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking an IAM Software Engineer to join a leading technology services organization focused on identity, access management, and cloud security solutions. The IAM Software Engineer will design, automate, and support enterprise identity platforms with a focus on Okta, Entra ID, SSO integrations, and infrastructure-as-code deployments.

The IAM Software Engineer is a long term open ended contract opportunity and requires you to work remote in Raleigh, NC.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or related field.
Deep knowledge of Okta and Microsoft Entra ID architecture, lifecycle management, SSO and federation protocols.
Proficiency with SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC) and modern authentication standards.
Experience coding with Terraform and Terragrunt to automate IAM deployments.
Experience integrating IAM solutions with cloud platforms, SaaS apps, and enterprise systems.
Strong troubleshooting, scripting and automation skills in a cloud-centric environment.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IAM solutions leveraging Okta and Entra ID.
Configure and support SSO, federation, and identity integrations across cloud and enterprise apps.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and Terragrunt for IAM deployments.
Implement and troubleshoot authentication and authorization frameworks using SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
Partner with security, cloud, and application teams to enhance identity governance and lifecycle management.
Automate provisioning, deprovisioning, and user lifecycle management across enterprise environments.
