Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking an IAM Software Engineer for a leading technology organization. The IAM Software Engineer can work remotely within the United States or in a hybrid capacity from Research Triangle Park, NC.

An ideal candidate for the IAM Software Engineer is an experienced identity and access management professional with expertise in Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Single Sign-On (SSO), and infrastructure automation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience with a strong focus on IAM.
• Deep knowledge of Okta and Microsoft Entra ID architecture, lifecycle management, SSO, and federation protocols.
• Experience with SSO, MFA, and identity federation across cloud and on-prem environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity federation solutions across cloud, on-premises, and SaaS environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot authentication protocols including SAML, OIDC, OAuth, MFA, and identity provider integrations.
• Utilize Terraform and Terragrunt to automate IAM deployments, configuration management, and identity infrastructure processes.
• Partner with security, compliance, and application teams to implement zero-trust security practices and onboard applications into centralized IAM platforms.
