Job summary

Actalent is seeking a mid-level Electrical/ I&C Engineer to support industrial and oil & gas projects, focusing on power systems design and integrity initiatives. You will perform design calculations, prepare engineering packages, and support project execution across client engagements.

The role involves working on power systems, including one-line diagrams and cable layouts, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Opportunity for growth into lead roles in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with flexibility for strong candidates with less experience.
• Strong understanding of oil & gas design standards and field applications.
• Experience in power systems and I&C design.
• Familiarity with NEC, NEMA, IEEE, and API standards.
• Experience with cathodic protection, ETAP, symmetry, and XGSlabs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct design calculations and develop engineering packages.
• Support project execution across multiple client engagements.
• Work on power systems design, including one-line diagrams, load lists, and panel schedules.
• Develop electrical design packages and handle cable schedules, conduit layouts, grounding, lighting plans, and equipment specifications.
• Engage in integrity work including cathodic protection, AC mitigation, and O&M planning.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NEMA, IEEE, and API standards.
