Our client, a well-established and highly regarded industrial automation and process control solutions provider, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its engineering team. This organization partners with leading manufacturers and serves a diverse client base across industries, including oil & gas, chemical processing, power generation, food & beverage, mining & metals, life sciences, pulp & paper, refining, petrochemical, OEM, and nuclear.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute customer requirements in compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, NEC) across industrial environments
  • Develop electrical designs including: grounding systems, heat tracing systems, lighting layouts, control panel layouts, and single-line and three-line diagrams (low voltage systems)
  • Perform cable tray and conduit sizing calculations
  • Support commissioning activities and provide post-startup technical support
  • Participate in on‑call rotation and support 24/7 customer service requirements
  • Contribute to preventive maintenance programs and emergency response efforts
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in industrial or process control environments
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and test electrical systems and components
  • Solid understanding of process control fundamentals
  • Strong application of engineering and mathematical principles in system design
  • Experience conducting technical research and implementing design improvements
  • Ability to mentor or guide junior engineers
  • Strong client‑facing communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel (including occasional overnight travel)
  • Ability to participate in on‑call support rotations
