Job summary

Confident Search Consultants is seeking a Territory Sales Engineer for Texas. This role covers Dallas, Houston or Austin with hybrid remote work and 60% travel as needed.

You will translate technical features for OEM clients, grow existing accounts, and pursue new business to meet growth targets. Requires 3–5 years' technical sales, engineering degree, and strong CRM/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Mechanical or Electrical Eng preferred.
• 3–5 years in technical sales to OEMs, preferably Motion Control.
• Stable tenure in recent roles (3+ years).

Responsibilities

• Penetrate and grow assigned territory, secure new accounts, retain existing accounts.
• Identify market and competitive opportunities within territory.
• Formulate business plans and sales initiatives.
• Identify opportunities and strategies for conversion.
• Maintain timely communications with Sales Management about accounts and plans.
• Build relationships with key personnel to maximize opportunities.
