Job summary

Willdan is seeking an HVAC Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver HVAC projects from contract award through completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships to meet goals.

This role requires 3+ years in HVAC or mechanical PM, strong knowledge of commercial systems, and proficiency in MS Office; PM software preferred. Remote position available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC, mechanical construction, or related project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, construction practices and installation.
• Understanding of project scheduling, cost control, and change-order management.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with project-management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC projects from generation through closeout.
• Review scopes, contracts, and equipment requirements.
• Develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, equipment manufacturers, and field teams.
• Monitor costs, labor, materials, equipment, and timing.
• Review and approve quotes, submittals, change orders, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate equipment procurement and deliveries to meet schedules.
• Conduct regular project meetings and provide status updates to clients.
• Identify risks, delays, scope gaps, and develop corrective actions.
• Track progress and maintain project documentation.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and address issues promptly.
