Translation Excellence, Inc. is seeking a highly specialized Life Science Linguist for remote work on a project-by-project basis. You will translate complex clinical and regulatory documents from English (USA) to Hungarian with top-level technical accuracy.

The role requires 5+ years in life science translation/editing, native Hungarian proficiency, and strong CAT tool experience to ensure ISO-compliant quality for regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Life Science or Translation.
• 5+ years of professional experience in life science translation/editing.
• Native-level fluency in the target language (Hungarian).
• Extensive experience with CAT tools (e.g., SDL Trados, memoQ, Memsource).
• Proven ability to handle high-stakes regulatory content (EMA/FDA filings or MedDRA/EDQM terminology).

Responsibilities

• Translation: English (USA) to Hungarian with high technical accuracy.
• Review & Revision: compare translations against source to ensure fidelity.
• Editing & Proofreading: improve style, flow, and grammar for publication or regulatory submission.
• Terminology Management: maintain client glossaries and translation memories for consistency.
• QA Compliance: adhere to ISO 17100 and ISO 13485 standards.
