Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related technical discipline.
5 years’ experience applying systems engineering or HSI principles to complex systems.
Experience with DoW or Navy.
Ability to obtain/maintain DoW Secret clearance.
Willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

Serve as the program’s technical expert for Human Systems Integration (HSI) activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
Develop, implement, and evaluate HSI strategies, plans, analyses, and technical recommendations per DoD/Navy guidance.
Integrate HSI into systems engineering processes across requirements, architecture, design reviews, risk management, verification and testing.
Conduct Human Factors Engineering analyses to evaluate workload, usability, safety, and operator safety.
Coordinate with engineers, logisticians, cybersecurity, test orgs, fleet reps, and program offices to resolve HSI-related issues.
Perform trade studies balancing mission effectiveness, lifecycle cost, and operational readiness.
Prepare technical reports, analyses, briefings, and recommendations for senior leadership.
