Voith US Inc. is seeking an HSE Manager of Construction & Commissioning to oversee field-level execution, monitoring, and enforcement of HSE programs across construction and commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
• CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) certification preferred
• ASP or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum 3–7 years of HSE experience in construction, commissioning, heavy-industrial or energy sector environments
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and site safety planning (SSMPs, JSAs)
• Experience supporting multi-site or project-based HSE programs is a plus
• Proactive, hands-on approach in dynamic field environments with excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of site-specific HSE plans (SSMPs, JSAs, Emergency Plans) across projects
• Ensure consistent HSE application through all project phases
• Conduct field inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Provide on-site HSE support during client audits and regulatory inspections
• Identify and implement corrective and preventive actions from incidents and near-misses
• Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks for employees and contractors
• Promote Stop Work Authority and safety culture with site teams
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams on HSE communication and reporting
