Job summary

DNOW is seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) professional to support field locations across the US, promoting HSE awareness, driving compliance, and facilitating training. The role requires independent work and up to 50% travel, including after-hours response during emergencies.

Responsibilities include audits, ensuring DOT compliance, maintaining HSE programs, and delivering safety training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety and Environmental-related field or 10+ years of service in the field.
• 2+ years job experience in Safety/Environmental field preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations (Federal, State and Local).
• Strong organizational and communication skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Branch locations adhere to company and federal/state safety guidelines.
• Ensure employees meet HSE training and competency requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and follow up with Branch managers on actions.
• Review JSA’s to ensure safety measures are in place and communicated.
• Conduct HSE training including Driver training, First Aid, H2S, Forklift, etc.
• Ensure Branch locations are DOT compliant.
• Develop proposals for corrective/preventive measures; investigate accidents.
• Inform employees about working, environmental and safety policies.
• Manage HSE training content as needed.
