Job summary

DistributionNOW is seeking a proactive HSE professional to support field locations by promoting safety culture and regulatory compliance in the Williston area. The role requires independent work and up to 50% travel, including after-hours support during emergencies.

You will drive HSE training, audits, and continuous improvement across branches, ensuring DOT compliance and effective safety communication with operations managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health, Safety and Environmental-related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years job experience in Safety and Environmental field preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental regulations at federal, state and local levels.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Branch locations adhere to company and federal/state safety guidelines.
• Ensure employees meet HSE training and competency requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and communicate results to the HSE Manager.
• Review JSA’s against processes to ensure safety measures are in place.
• Conduct HSE training including Driver training, First Aid, H2S, Forklift.
• Ensure Branch locations are DOT compliant.
• Manage projects for continual improvement of internal HSE programs.
• Develop corrective/preventive measures and investigate accidents.
• Inform employees about working, environmental and safety policies.
• Manage HSE training content as needed.
