Stride, Inc. (Digital Academy of Texas) is hiring a remote High School Science Teacher to deliver online coursework for DATX. The role involves monitoring student progress in the Stride K12 LMS, supporting students and families, and collaborating with school staff.

Travel is required for testing and PD. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and an active state teaching license, plus proficiency with MS Excel/Outlook/Word/PowerPoint and the ability to adapt to new technologies.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and active state teaching license required.
• Experience teaching in online/virtual environments preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and quick adaptability to new tech.
• Ability to travel ~20% for professional development and school activities.

Responsabilidades

• Augments course content using asynchronous and synchronous tools under guidance from principal and coach.
• Maintains grade book, student placement and progress tracking, and alerts administrators to concerns.
• Supports learning coaches/parents with curricular issues and basic tech troubleshooting in a virtual classroom.
• Travels approximately 20% for face-to-face professional development, student testing, and other school requirements.
