Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a qualified remote High School Science Teacher for the Digital Academy of Texas (DATX). The role involves delivering online science content, monitoring progress, and supporting families within Stride K12’s online learning environment.

This full-time remote position requires a professional home office and occasional travel for state testing and events. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree, an active state teaching license, and experience teaching online

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and an active state teaching license.
Ability to interpret and present numeric, tabular, and graphic student data.
Experience teaching online or in a virtual/hybrid setting.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
Strong collaboration with teachers to support student progress.
Willing to travel occasionally for events and training.

Responsibilities

Augments course content under guidance from principal and coach.
Maintains grade book and alerts admins to concerns.
Supports learning coaches/parents with curricular issues and basic tech support.
Travels about 20% of the time for professional development and testing.
