Roth Staffing is seeking a remote HR Specialist to support day-to-day HR programs, leave administration, compliance, HR operations, and benefits support. Working with the Director of Human Resources, the HR Specialist role serves as a trusted resource for coworkers and Ambassadors, ensuring a positive experience while maintaining compliance with policies and employment laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent
• 3+ years HR experience
• Experience administering leaves of absence (FMLA/CFRA/PDL)
• Knowledge of federal, state and local leave laws
• Proficiency with Excel and HR software/HRIS

Responsibilities

• Administer leaves of absence (FMLA, CFRA, PDL) from intake to return-to-work.
• Serve as day-to-day HR resource for coworkers and Ambassadors.
• Support HR compliance by staying current on laws and ensuring practices align.
• Assist with benefits administration and reporting (enrollment, reconciliation).
• Support HR operations across onboarding, status changes, recordkeeping, and offboarding.
• Maintain HR data and use UKG to improve data accuracy and employee experience.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced remote environment.
