Job summary

Somewhere is seeking an HR & Operations Manager to lead our people function in a fully remote, US-based context. You’ll own HR systems, compliance, onboarding, performance reviews, and variable compensation, while collaborating with leadership to support investor relations and day-to-day operations.

This role requires 3+ years in HR, strong discretion, excellent communication, and mastery of Excel/Sheets. You’ll thrive wearing multiple hats in a fast-growing, multi-location environment and help

Qualifications

• 3+ years in human resources or people operations (U.S.-based preferred).
• Working knowledge of U.S. labor laws, employee classification, and compliance.
• Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets for compensation and data analysis.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• HR Systems, Records & Compliance (core focus).
• Recruitment & Onboarding end-to-end.
• Performance Management and feedback systems.
• Administer variable compensation and partner with Finance.
• Investor relations support and reporting coordination.
• Internal communication and day-to-day operations coordination.
