Job summary

AML RightSource is seeking an HR Onboarding Coordinator to enhance our new hire integration process, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience for all new employees. This role collaborates with multiple departments to manage onboarding and offboarding, maintain compliance, and support a welcoming, policy-driven culture.

You will schedule activities, set up HRIS entries, handle forms and benefits enrollment, verify background checks, and monitor program effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in human resources or training or learning & development.
• Strong knowledge of onboarding best practices, HR policies and procedures, and employment laws.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage and streamline the onboarding process efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with employees and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute and complete all onboarding tasks promptly, ensuring adherence to company process and confidentiality.
• Schedule onboarding activities, welcome emails, HRIS setup, equipment/workspace setup, and paperwork including forms, benefits enrollment, and I-9 verification.
• Support pre-employment and recheck employment screenings to ensure compliance, and manage background and drug check reports.
• Ensure documentation and paperwork are completed per jurisdictional requirements, including verification, payroll/tax forms, and benefits enrollment.
• Create and maintain up-to-date onboarding materials and resources.
• Track and report on onboarding program effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
• Support employee relations arising during the new hire training program.
• Maintain strong relationships with HR, Operations, IT, and Managers to resolve onboarding issues.
• Ensure onboarding processes adhere to legal requirements and company policies.
• Assist in other areas of human resources.
