Job summary

JobAps in Delaware seeks a Labor Relations Advisor to apply HR theories and manage investigations, data analysis and policy interpretation across agencies. The role emphasizes compliance with state and federal HR laws, and providing training on harassment prevention and diversity initiatives.

The incumbent will collect and analyze data for reports, advise leadership, and support telework options under Delaware’s policies. Collaboration with employees, supervisors and managers is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, or four years of professional HR experience.
• Three years’ experience in professional HR work and labor/employee relations guidance.
• Two years’ experience ensuring compliance with HR laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures.
• One year of interviewing employees, management or others to obtain facts and explore issues.

Responsibilities

• Apply HR theories to support administration of HR functions in compliance with laws, rules and policies.
• Provide guidance to employees, management or others on labor or employee relations inquiries and challenges.
• Conduct workplace investigations and respond to complaints and inquiries.
• Analyze data and information from multiple sources and report findings narratively and statistically.
• Participate in interviews, meetings, and presentations.
