Job summary

CAI is seeking an HR Intern to support our Human Resources team across operations, recruiting, onboarding, talent development and HR projects. This role offers hands‑on exposure to core HR functions and is ideal for a junior student exploring a career in HR.

The internship runs June 7, 2027 through August 6, 2027, is full‑time and remote, with a 40‑hour workweek during core business hours. All work is performed in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Current Junior with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and AI tools.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through HR functional areas (Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Relations, HRIS/People Analytics).
• Assist with job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
• Support new hire onboarding, including documentation.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records per data retention policies.
• Collect, organize, and analyze workforce data and translate findings into reports for leadership.
• Contribute to content highlighting CAI’s culture, opportunities, and employer value proposition.
• Assist with HR projects related to employee engagement, benefits, and training.
• Support compliance tracking as needed.
• Use AI-powered HR tools.
