• Remote HR experience across a distributed team.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification strongly preferred.
• Hands-on recruiting from posting roles to interviews and offers.
• HR documentation experience: offer letters, verifications, offboarding docs.
• Discretion and judgment with confidential information.
• Comfortable on a Mac and with Google Workspace and new tools.
• Clear, professional communication with customers and colleagues.
• Organized, improvement-minded and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own the full hiring cycle: define role needs, screen apps, schedule interviews, background checks, and offers.
• Own recruitment process flows; keep them clear, current, efficient; advise Directors and hiring managers.
• Own onboarding and new-hire orientation; ensure access and tools are ready.
• Own offboarding from resignation to final documentation; ensure smooth departures.
• Schedule and track training and manage Training Calendar.
• Support performance management and development cycles; track timelines and next steps.
• Prepare HR documentation such as changes, verifications, and leave communications.
• Keep the employee handbook current; answer benefits questions.
• Coordinate HR projects and surveys; support organizational change management.
• Enhance internal slide decks with well-placed visuals.
• Own HR compliance training and track deadlines; stay updated on legal changes.
• Recognize work anniversaries through Abaversary program.
• Be a trusted HR contact, handling sensitive matters with confidentiality.
