Qualifications

• 5+ years HR leadership experience with progressively responsible responsibilities.
• SHRM certification or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of current employment laws and best practices.
• Self-directed with strong organizational and financial management skills.
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
• Faith-based international relief and development work alignment.
• Computer literacy including HRIS, Excel and Word; eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and interpret HR policies for managers and staff.
• Oversee payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with Finance Services.
• Support safeguarding and anti-oppression initiatives across MCC U.S. and system.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development programs.
• Collaborate with MCC Canada and International Program HR directors on policy alignment.
• Provide HR counsel to managers and board stakeholders.
