Job summary

Cox Enterprises seeks a Data Sr Analyst to own HR data governance and Workday security across the People Analytics function. You will configure security, oversee access governance, and guide stakeholders on best practices to protect confidential employee data.

Key activities include managing Workday security, performing access reviews, coordinating audits with HR, IT, Legal and Compliance, and continuously improving governance processes to reduce risk.

Qualifications

• US-based candidates preferred; remote (US only) options available with onsite travel a few times per year.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree or higher with 4+ years in HR data governance/security; or Master’s with 2+ years; or 8 years in lieu of degree.
• Strong knowledge of Workday HCM security configuration and governance practices.
• Workday Security Administration certification is required (e.g., Workday Pro Security).
• Experience with HR data access management and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Configure and administer Workday security, including domain, role-based, and user security groups.
• Monitor 100+ active Workday security activities and escalate issues per governance.
• Lead governance enhancements for role design, access management, and policy controls.
• Conduct bi-annual Workday User Access Reviews and hygiene of security groups.
• Coordinate audit support activities and remediation with stakeholders.
• Assist with cross-platform security administration (Peakon, UKG, HR ODS, Prism).
• Maintain governance trackers and process documentation.
