Cox Enterprises is seeking a Data Sr Analyst to serve as the Workday security administrator and owner of HR data access governance across the People Analytics function. You will manage security configuration, monitor trends, assess risks, and advise stakeholders on access controls within governance standards.

The role emphasizes independent judgment on routine decisions, strong data confidentiality, and collaboration with HR, IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to strengthen security outcomes.

Qualifications

• Preference for local candidates in Atlanta.
• Open to remote (US only) for the right candidate; travel onsite a few times a year.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• 4 years' experience in a related role; or Master's degree with up to 2+ years.
• Ideal candidate has 4 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as one of two Workday security configurators for domain, role-based, and user security creation and assignment.
• Monitor 100+ active Workday security activities in Production and escalate to AVP as appropriate.
• Resolve standard security configuration issues independently and determine escalation for complex changes.
• Partner with HRT and IBT to improve governance, role design, and access management processes.
• Conduct bi-annual Workday User Access Reviews and coordinate security group hygiene.
• Stay current on Workday security updates and patches; propose enhancements to AVP.
• Access Request Management across Workday, Peakon, UKG, CEI HR ODS, and Reporting & Analytics via ServiceNow/SharePoint.
• Evaluate requests against standard criteria; escalate non-standard requests to AVP.
• Validate requests against least-privilege standards prior to fulfillment.
• Maintain governance documentation and trackers in SharePoint.
• Lead governance process reviews and drive corrective actions based on audits.
• Coordinate audit support activities and respond to requests with stakeholders.
