Job summary

ProService Hawaii is seeking an HR Consultant / Staff Attorney to guide clients at the intersection of employment law and business decisions. You will translate regulations into practical guidance and perform contract review to support client success.

You will balance rigorous legal analysis with clear, client-centered communication, handling investigations and regulatory inquiries while helping leaders act confidently under pressure.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice law and sound legal judgment are essential.
• Ability to balance attorney rigor with client-focused advisory approach.
• Strong research and clear written drafting skills.
• Experience advising on HR and employment compliance matters.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on HR and employment compliance across industries.
• Guide employers through investigations and regulatory inquiries (EEOC, DLIR, DOL, etc.).
• Develop claim-prevention strategies to reduce harassment and discrimination risk.
• Provide internal legal support including contract review and drafting of documents.
• Monitor evolving employment regulations and incorporate new requirements into recommendations.
• Manage multiple client relationships with defined timelines in Salesforce.
