Curbridge Group is seeking a Human Resource Consultant to remotely support clients with HR foundations, compliance, employee relations and strategic HR initiatives. You will build trusted relationships, diagnose HR issues, and deliver practical solutions while documenting processes and playbooks for scalability.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, cross-client collaboration, and agile adaptation in a growing, entrepreneurial environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience (consulting or in-house).
• Holds a CPHR designation.
• Experience in a client-facing role a plus.
• Experience in consulting is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of HR fundamentals: employment standards, compliance, employee relations, talent management.
• Excellent communication skills with diplomacy.
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Proactive, forward-thinking and solution oriented.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable with ambiguity in a small-business environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR consulting engagements across building HR foundations, compliance, employee relations and HR strategy.
• Progress clients through HR projects within company systems to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop documentation like handbooks, policies, and communications to support clients.
• Review client policies for compliance with federal/provincial law and HR best practices.
• Guide clients through organizational change and provide trusted advice.
• Manage client files with accuracy, confidentiality, and completeness.
• Support Directors Desk clients with inquiries and HR troubleshooting.
• Help grow and improve the Directors Desk portal.
