Ladders is seeking a Senior System Software Engineer - Slurm to advance core system software for high‑performance computing environments, working on Linux‑based code paths across scheduling components.

The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external customers to resolve complex issues, improve reliability, performance, and maintainability. Location is Remote, with compensation of $140,000–$270,250 annually and strong benefits.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional experience in C development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of memory management, pointers, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with debugging tools like GDB and performance profiling.
• Solid understanding of Linux kernel interfaces and system calls.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
• Experience with containers and GPU technologies.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, improve, and optimize software components in C.
• Develop and maintain system-level and application-level code for scheduling software.
• Debug and fix complex issues related to reliability and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations and Infrastructure.
• Provide direct technical support to internal teams or external customers.
• Develop automated tests to ensure software reliability.
