Qualifications
10+ years of experience as a Linux system administrator.
Experience with Slurm Job Scheduler.
Familiarity with shell scripting and cron.
Managing Cluster Storage Solutions.
WekaFS and CEPH familiarity.
Open on Demand experience.
Comfortable diagnosing and working on client hardware.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and systems administration for HPC cluster.
System administration for HPC Linux cluster.
Manage user jobs and cluster configuration using Slurm.
Assist researchers in job scheduling and troubleshooting Slurm job submissions.
Build and install software on Linux systems.
Work with support vendors to maintain systems.
Execute migration/upgrade plan and validation procedure.
Monitor system health and proactively diagnose issues.
Create accounts and assist users in managing permissions.
