Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a HPC Storage Administrator to join our remote Servicesteam in Washington. You’ll design, configure and maintain high‑performance storage systems (GPFS, NAS, SAN, and object storage) to deliver fast, reliable data access for researchers, engineers and data scientists.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with high-speed storage in an HPC environment – preferably GPFS and experience with large data backups – preferably Working knowledge of Dell PowerVault storage
• Working knowledge of GPFS - preferable PixStor
• Working knowledge of NFS
• RedHat administration
