Zusammenfassung

Medix is actively seeking experienced Hospital Cash Posting / Payment Posting Specialists to support a major health system's revenue cycle team. This long-term W-2 contract offers remote work after a one-week onsite training in San Antonio, TX, with an expected November start and a structured Monday–Friday schedule.

You will post insurance and patient payments, review EOBs/ERAs, and apply payments to correct accounts while maintaining accuracy in a high-volume, production-driven environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of recent Cash Posting / Payment Posting experience with hospital or facility accounts.
• Experience with EOBs and ERAs.
• Experience posting insurance payments, patient payments, adjustments, and denials.
• Strong reconciliation and discrepancy-resolution skills.
• Healthcare billing and revenue cycle experience.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Willingness to travel to San Antonio for onsite training if required.

Aufgaben

• Post insurance and patient payments, adjustments, denials, and other financial transactions accurately.
• Review and process EOBs, ERAs, and electronic remittance information.
• Apply payments and adjustments to the correct hospital accounts.
• Research and resolve posting discrepancies, unmatched payments, and account variances.
• Reconcile financial transactions and maintain accurate patient accounting records.
• Work closely with Billing, A/R, and Revenue Cycle teams to resolve account issues.
• Maintain strong accuracy while processing high transaction volumes.
• Meet established Cash Posting productivity, quality, and turnaround expectations.
