Job summary
Guidehouse is seeking a Cash Posting Supervisor in San Antonio, TX to oversee hospital cash posting and payment reconciliation within the revenue cycle. You will lead a team, ensure timely posting of payments and adjustments, and partner with Finance and Revenue Cycle leadership to resolve issues.
The ideal candidate has strong cash posting, reconciliation, and leadership skills, with hands-on experience in Epic and MEDITECH environments.
Qualifications
- Requires 5 years in healthcare revenue cycle, hospital cash posting, or related patient financial services.
- 2+ years of supervisory or team-lead experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard business applications.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily hospital cash posting activities including insurance, patient, electronic and manual payments.
- Monitor ERA, EFT, lockbox, credit card, and manual payment workflows; resolve posting discrepancies.
- Oversee daily balancing of posted payments against bank deposits and reconciliation documents.
- Provide coaching and development for Cash Posting staff; adjust workloads based on volume and priorities.
- Prepare and review performance reports; identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement.
