Job summary

Vital Care Infusion Services is hiring for a remote Home Infusion Billing Specialist. The role focuses on collecting on claims, reducing denial rates, and improving revenue cycle performance while supporting franchise partners and patients across the United States.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of home infusion billing/collections experience, strong English communication, and proficiency with payer portals and pharmacy software. Remote work is supported with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with billing/collections training or equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years home infusion billing and/or collections experience preferred.
• Remote work experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with post-billing and post-payment investigative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review claims with outstanding balances and identify actions to collect revenues.
• Follow up with insurers and patients to collect balances.
• Review EOBs, RAs, and other documents indicating denials; identify reasons and take corrective action.
• Identify payor requirements for submittal of appeals and submit appeals per payor requirements.
• Communicate with franchise partners and other departments regarding status of collections.
• Document case activity and schedule follow-ups in the system.
• Investigate and verify benefits for pharmacy and medical third-party claims.
• Explain financial obligations to patients prior to starting therapy.
