The ideal candidate will have hands-on Homecare Homebase billing experience, the ability to work independently in a remote setting, and strong communication to resolve documentation or claim issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Homecare Homebase billing experience.
• Experience submitting claims and following up on AR.
• Familiarity with Medicare home health billing requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review accounts and documentation to identify claims that are ready for billing.
• Prepare, review, and submit home health claims using Homecare Homebase.
• Verify patient, payer, authorization, and billing information before submission.
• Monitor claim status and follow up on rejections, unpaid claims, and underpayments.
• Research denials, appeal or reconsiderations as needed.
• Post payments and adjustments accurately.
• Work aging accounts receivable and document follow-up activity.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to obtain information needed to resolve claims.
• Protect patient information and follow agency policies for secure remote work.
