Job summary

ICF’s Homeless Services team is seeking an experienced HMIS Analyst to support the administration and operation of HMIS for a large Continuum of Care. The analyst will ensure data quality, develop reports and analytics, and collaborate with partners to inform strategy and operations.

This role is contingent on a contract award; interviews and offers are anticipated. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and at least two years’ HMIS software implementation experience; Python, R, or

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science or Information Systems, Public Policy, Planning, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience working directly with an HMIS software implementation.
Thorough understanding of HMIS report programming specifications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

Provide subject matter expertise for TA projects supporting local efforts to prevent and end homelessness.
Interpret HUD policy and translate requirements into HMIS configurations, data collection, and reporting workflows.
Develop reports, analytic products, and system administration activities.
Implement HMIS data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring processes.
Develop and document repeatable analytical approaches for federal and local reporting needs.
