Guidehouse is seeking a Health Information Management Tech II for a 100% remote role. You will analyze and import medical records, ensuring completeness and integrity of electronic records within required timeframes.

Collaboration with staff and timely response to release-of-information requests are essential. Requirements include 5+ years of experience, an AHIMA-approved associate degree, and RHIT/RHIA certification or eligibility (certification within six months).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in health information management or medical records.
• Associate's degree from an accredited Health Information Technology/Management program; related experience may substitute for formal education.
• Current RHIT or RHIA certification or eligibility and must obtain certification within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and import medical records and ensure completeness within required time frames.
• Maintain integrity of electronic medical records through data analysis, review, and reporting.
• Respond to information requests per departmental and hospital guidelines; ensure timely completion of records.
