Job summary

CampusWorks is seeking a Workday Consultant for a remote, project-based assignment aimed at higher education clients. This 1099 independent contractor role offers flexibility and the possibility of campus visits as needed.

You will work with client campuses to assess processes, design future-state solutions, and implement Workday Finance, HCM, and/or Student modules, collaborating with campus leaders and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Substantial Workday expertise in higher education settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders as a trusted advisor.
• Experience with project management methodologies and process mapping.
• Reporting, analytics, and BI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with campus leaders and external vendors to assess processes and recommend improvements.
• Support compliance with grant requirements and institutional policies.
• Help institutions strengthen internal controls and align operations with goals.
• Guide campuses on optimizing Workday Finance, HCM, and/or Student modules.
• Facilitate workshops, document processes, and support knowledge transfer.
