Job summary

CampusWorks is seeking Advancement Consultants to support higher education clients in strengthening their advancement and alumni operations. Consultants may serve as Interim Advancement Director, lead process reviews, CRM selections, or optimize CRM/ERP systems.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience as a senior-level advancement professional in a higher education institution.
Familiarity with modern fundraising and advancement CRM systems (Ellucian CRM Advance, Raiser’s Edge, Blackbaud, DonorPerfect, Affinaquest, Salesforce, Banner Advancement, Colleague Advancement).
Experience assessing advancement operations and recommending policy changes and realignment of roles.
Strong leadership, consensus-building and change-management skills.
Excellent consultative communication with end clients.

Responsibilities

Serving as Interim Advancement Director, providing day-to-day leadership of the advancement department staff.
Overseeing current projects and priorities within the department.
Assessing efficiency of advancement operations and identifying improvements.
Designing and delivering training for clients and staff.
Helping clients align policy, process, procedures, and personnel to leverage advancement solutions.
