Job summary

FlatWorld is seeking a Sales Representative to persuade faculty to adopt our digital-first textbooks and Homework system. You will build trusted relationships with instructors, search college and university websites to identify opportunities, and demonstrate FlatWorld's products using a consultative approach.

Starting with remote training, you will eventually visit campuses, travel to top institutions in your territory during peak seasons, and drive new revenue with uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four year college or university.
• Superior listening, oral and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent organization and follow through skills.
• Accomplished range of skills from strategic thinking to creative and detailed execution.
• Comfortable with technology and using sales tools such as Google Meet, Zoom, Salesforce, Slack, Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute a territory plan, focusing on larger, Tier 1 accounts in your territory.
• Uncover opportunities by responding to inbound inquiries and identifying opportunities at Tier 1 accounts.
• Attain and surpass sales goals by building relationships and expanding awareness of FlatWorld.
• Develop selling approaches using input from peers, management and sales tools/reports.
• Manage company resources and comply with standards, including laptop and marketing collateral.
• Client facing role and required to live in territory.
• 40+ hours per week (Monday - Friday).
