Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking a Higher Education Regulatory Systems Modernization Consultant for state-level work. The consultant will operate in a remote-first capacity with occasional client travel to align with modernization efforts in academic regulation and IT systems.

Responsibilities include defining modern workflows, advising on data migration and integrations, and contributing to AlphaGov proposals when named.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in higher-education regulation, accreditation, or state IT modernization.
• Experience analyzing requirements and business processes.
• Comfortable working as a 1099 project-based consultant.

Responsibilities

• Assess academic program registration, institutional review, and evaluation workflows.
• Define requirements for case/workflow modernization.
• Advise on data migration, public portals, and integrations.
• Support implementation planning and change management.
• Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming.
